I have been doing pole-vaulting and have found the pole-vaulting giver me good feeling and has art power inside. So I try to use art sculpture to explaining it.
In the year 2000 the Olympics will open in Australia. Australia has special rock, call ‘Ayres rock ‘. I chose Ayres rock for the background, the pole-vaulter in the front, doing a jump start. His muscles are strong by art and pushes the pole to bend and will go up……
When you watching it, you can feel energy , you can feel the future, you can think about the pole-vaulter during this time; does he can turn to back? No, does he want to turn left? No.
He only wants forward ‘
Power to future ‘This sculpture on Olympic field to inspire vigor. It is art for society of Australia sport.
